I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream [Eat]

Warm weather has arrived in Texas and so has my cravings for delicious ice cream!
There is a relatively new ice cream shop called Lick in San Antonio, located at the Pearl.  This shop offers a very unique variety of flavors. They do not use any artificial colors or flavors, high fructose corn syrup or any preservatives ever! Also, all ingredients come from local vendors.

They have a lot of different flavors and they vary depending on the season.  Some of the unique flavors that they have are Roasted Beets & Fresh Mint, Cilantro Lime, Coconut & Avocado, and Lady Bird Lavender Crisp, just to name a few.

I ordered two scoops on a waffle cone. I choose the Roasted Beets & Fresh Mint and the Goat Cheese, Thyme & Honey. Both were delicious, but the Roasted Beets & Fresh Mint was my favorite! I loved it! I know it sounds weird, but trust me, oh it’s GOOD!

If you are at the Pearl, you should definitely visit Lick and try their exquisite and unique ice cream. Lick is located at 312 Pearl Parkway Building 2, Suite 2101 San Antonio, Texas 78215.  To learn more about Lick visit ilikelick.com.

Fiesta San Antonio [Travel & Eat]

Fiesta San Antonio started as a parade in 1891, honoring the heroes from the battles of Alamo and San Jacinto. This is the city’s biggest festival that takes place every spring.

Fiesta is one of America’s greatest festivals. Over 3 million people attend more than 100 events, taking place all over the city. This huge economic impact, rakes in more than $284 million for the City of San Antonio. The funds raised provide services to citizens throughout the year.

Literally, the city shuts down for 2 weeks to celebrate Fiesta! However, I have lived in San Antonio for 10 years and always manage to forget about it. This year my co-workers organized an outing during lunch. We went to the Market Square and sure enough, in middle of the work day, the place was packed with happy people, drinks and of course lots of comfort food.

If you happen to be in San Antonio or live here and have never been, make sure to attend one of the many events. Fiesta will end on Sunday April, 26th, so you still have time!

Baseball Season [Steal]

I have a long bucket list that includes experiencing every single major league sport live. Baseball season is here and I yet to scratch that off my list. I would love attend one of the Texas Rangers games, since it's my favorite team [Go Rangers!].

Tickets to see the Texas Rangers at The Globe Life Park in Dallas start at $14. Baseball season ends in October, so we still have time. I am planning to go this summer.
For more information about Texas Rangers tickets visit, texas.rangers.mlb.com.

Of course, I don't have tickets but I have my ideal outfit already. I researched and found an awesome Texas Rangers baseball cap from the baseball hats page on Fanatics.com for only $17 [Steal!]. This is a great accessory. It protects you from the sun while supporting your favorite team, plus it looks super cute.

Although the Chiara Ferragni espadrilles are not a steal, they are to die for. I love the cute popcorn and soda bottle, it goes perfect with the outfit.

Coffee + Pastries [Eat]

I really enjoy trying out new places, especially if it’s local. I few days ago I saw a super cute restored bungalow near my workplace. I noticed it was a new coffee house called Common Wealth Coffeehouse and Bakery. I couldn't wait any longer so I decided to give it a try! I went there for lunch. The house is adorable, very cozy and the coffee smell, well it just gives it the perfect atmosphere. The Common Wealth Coffeehouse and Bakery is located at 18 Davis Court, San Antonio, TX 78209.

I ordered the Tarragon Chicken Salad Croissant [classic homemade chicken salad served on a bed of field greens and handmade croissant] and the Salad Dijon [balsamic vinaigrette, shallots, mozzarella, walnuts and tomatoes on a bed of field greens]. My friend ordered the CW Croissant [smoked turkey, Swiss and Dijon] with the Common Wealth Salad [goat cheese, champagne vinaigrette and caramelized English walnuts over a bed of baby spinach].

After enjoying our delightful lunch we determined we had room for coffee + pastries. So we ordered the Croissant Aux Amandes [Rich almond crème drizzled over handmade croissant topped with almonds] and a LatteThis was the perfect pair! It was delicious. We really enjoyed the coffee house. We sat on one of the comfortable sofas and savored our coffee and pastries along with a good conversation.
