Two weeks ago I had brunch with my cousin at Barbaro. I had no clue what to expect, but I have heard good things about this place. The place looks vintage and super cute! I loved the atmosphere. There was only one waiter and you can imagine the service was a bit slow.
We had no rush, we had some coffee and then decided to order. My cousin is a vegetarian and wanted to try two options and share. We ordered the Eggplant Parmesan and she ordered the Ratatouille. Our waiter somehow mixup our order and he brought the Eggs Barbaro. We were not that excited about the mixup until we tried them! This dish was delicious and also vegetarian, for the win! The owner came out and apologized for the error and said he would not charge us the dish and that he would bring out the eggplant anyways. By the time the eggplant came out we were already stuffed, but we had to try some. It was delicious too! It had a bit of spice, which made me like it even more. I took it home and my husband had it later for dinner.
They do have breakfast, lunch and dinner and a full bar. Overall this place is good. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. I will definitely come back to try some other good stuff from the menu. To see the menu click here.
