Rent the Runway Experience [Steal]

One of my closest friends tied the knot last weekend and for her wedding, I decided to use Rent the Runway. I usually buy a new dress for every wedding I attend and then never use it again. I think renting a dress is such a great idea because you spend only a fraction of what it really costs. You save money and time.

Things to do in Lima [Travel]

Lima is the capital of Peru and it is located in the coast. There are a lot of things to do in Lima but since we were there for only 2 days we just did a few things. Below I will point out what to do and where to eat (very important). We started our tour downtown Lima, to be precise at Plaza San Martin.

Vegan Poblano Mac and Cheese [Eat]

I have been trying to eat healthier by having a vegetarian/vegan diet during the week and allowing myself to eat animal products during the weekends. Also, I started cooking more, maybe because I got awesome wedding gifts for my kitchen. The deal is that we are having a Thanksgiving potluck at work and one of my coworkers is vegan (he doesn't eat any animal product, not even honey).

Two Days in Cusco [Travel]

On our way to Machu Picchu, we stopped by Cusco for only two days. We got there on a Saturday with the best disposition of going out and explore everything! We asked our taxi driver about any tours and he mentioned a quite few, but they all started pretty early.

Travel Guide and Advice to Machu Picchu

If you are planning on visiting Peru make sure Machu Picchu is on the list. Machu Picchu is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and it is a must! I've seen many pictures but being there is something else, it is out of this world. It is incredible to see how the Incas created this citadel on the top of the mountains. I would love to go into details about the history and who discovered these ruins (Hiram Bingham in 1911) but I will let you research it or let your tour guide tell you all about it. It is very important to buy your tickets before traveling, probably months in advance. I think we bought ours like one month before the trip. They do not sell tickets at the entrance. Here is the link to purchase them, machupicchu.gob.

Sayulita Pueblo Mágico [Travel]

Sayulita was one of the places we visited during my bachelorette party.  I really wanted to visit this town because it’s on the list of “Pueblos Magicos”.  (What does that mean? That it is a "Magical Village" is a place with symbolism, legends, history, important events, day-to-day life – in other words, "magic" in its social and cultural manifestations, with great opportunities for tourism.)

Guide for a Bachelorette Party in Mexico [Travel]

A month ago my friends and I were celebrating my bachelorette party in Mexico!
I wanted to go to Puerto Vallarta-Punta Mita-Sayulita, So we did! We had an amazing time. As I mentioned in my previous post "Punta Mita", we stayed at the Iberostar Punta Mita and transported ourselves in a taxi. We had a blast, although I got sea sick, I will do it all over again, but this time with some Dramamine.

The Most Unique Restaurant in Puerto Vallarta [Eat & Travel]

During my bachelorette trip, my MOH made reservations at this super cool restaurant called "La Leche" which means "The Milk". This place is one of the most unique restaurants I have ever been to. Everything inside is white, like milk. The decorations are minimalist and contemporary which gives this place a chic and trendy atmosphere.

I just came back from Punta Mita, Nayarit, a small town on Mexico's Pacific Coast. This beautiful village is in the middle of the jungle where there are many high-end resorts, golf courses, and upscale homes.

Mexican Themed Bridal Shower [Steal]

The month of June has been a month full of bridal showers! I've had one every week so I will be posting about them. Initially, I wanted to get married in Mexico with tequila and delicious Mexican food, but at the end, we decided it will just be easier to do it in San Antonio. When my mother asked me what I wanted for my bridal shower I told her that all I wanted was tequila and Mexican food, so her and my aunts threw me a small Mexican Party.

Double Buckle Belt [Steal]

Steals, Steal, Western Look, Double Buckle Belt, Featured, Street Style

Back in 2015 was when I first spotted Kendall Jenner wearing a double buckle belt. I immediately thought I must have it! I first ordered one through Amazon, (Large Size) but it was extremely small. I was very disappointed and thought that maybe I just don’t look good with belts. So, I returned it and got over it.

Perfectly Imperfect: Vest Outfit [Steal]

Vest Outfit

I've always loved vests! I think it's a piece of apparel that makes you feel good. It's happened to me that I wake up and my self-esteem is through the floor. Trying out a million outfits and still thinking I look fat or everything looks too tight. Well, a vest covers those "imperfections", well at least that's how I see it. Plus, it makes me feel stylish!

Tuscany in Texas [Travel]

Last weekend I visited the Texas Hill Country. We stopped by the Duchman Winery, in Driftwood, Texas. We went there specifically for the wine before stuffing our faces at the famous BBQ place, Salt Lick. There are many vineyards/wineries in the Texas Hill Country, but this one looked very Italian, like Tuscany.  Although I've only been to Rome, Venice, and Florence, I've seen movies (Under the Tuscany Sun) and this place, reminded me of it. We did some wine tasting and then got one glass of our favorite wine.

Sequins for Brunch [Steal]

featured, sequins for brunch, sequins, day time outfit, street style, casual

Sequins are always fun to wear! Although when I hear the word sequins, I usually think of nightlife, new years eve, Las Vegas or something similar to that. I know sequins can be a little too much, but if you match them with the right pieces it makes the perfect daytime outfit.
