Tuscany in Texas [Travel]

Last weekend I visited the Texas Hill Country. We stopped by the Duchman Winery, in Driftwood, Texas. We went there specifically for the wine before stuffing our faces at the famous BBQ place, Salt Lick. There are many vineyards/wineries in the Texas Hill Country, but this one looked very Italian, like Tuscany.  Although I've only been to Rome, Venice, and Florence, I've seen movies (Under the Tuscany Sun) and this place, reminded me of it. We did some wine tasting and then got one glass of our favorite wine.
We sat outside by the fountain and took some pictures. There's an Italian restaurant called Trattoria Lisina, next to the winery. By the smell, and by the number of people eating there, it seems that this place is delicious. If my mind wouldn't have been set on BBQ, I would have definitely eaten there.

I went there with my fiancee and his family. This place is very romantic and would be perfect for Valentine's. Why fly to Tuscany, when you have the Texas Hill Country.

When the world seems to shine and you've had too much wine...that's amore! 💫🍷❤
Happy Valentine's day!
