I am not vegetarian but I definitely
enjoy it, especially if it’s flavorful. Recently, the same owners of Green Vegetarian
Cuisine and Earth Burger opened an Asian restaurant called Bok Choy-Plant Powered
Asian.
One of my favorite cuisines is the Asian
and not too long ago, I creating an obsession with the Vietnamese soup, Pho.
This delicious soup is one of my preferred (aside from my mom’s “caldo tlalpeño”).
So, my friend, knowing that, invited
me to try the vegetarian version of it.
We started with some Vietnamese
Fried Spring Rolls [Crispy rice paper rolls stuffed with tofu, carrots, noodles,
potatoes, and mushrooms] They were delicious! Then I obviously ordered the Good
Pho You Bowl [Rice Vermicelli in a fortified herbal broth, with fresh
basil, bok choy, broccoli, jalapenos, carrots, bean sprouts, shiitake
mushrooms, scallions, and tofu].
The pho from Bok Choy definitely meet
all my expectations.
The shiitake mushrooms give it a lot of flavor. It has been one of my favorite
vegetarian pho, so far. This is a
great place if you want to eat good and healthy!
Cons.
Some items
on the menu say they come with BBQ Beef or Chik-n, but don’t be fooled, this
place is straight vegetarian/vegan.
