Undoubtedly, Bakery Lorraine has some of the
most succulent macarons in San Antonio. These little french pastries are so
tasteful that when I had the first bite I thought for a second that I was
at Ladurée, a Parisian bakery that features some of the most famous
macarons in the world. This small bakery located in 511 E. Grayson Street
is owned by husband-and-wife chefs Anne Ng and Jeremy Mandrell.
Bakery Lorraine has been named one of the
top bakeries in the US by Eatocracy , Fodor'sTravel, and Conde Nast
Travelers among
others.
This bakery also offers other delicious items,
such as sandwiches and other types of pastries although its menu changes every
day.
Some of their most famous pastries are the
Pecan Sticky Bun and the Homemade Pop Tart and of
course the macarons, I recommend you to try the Pumpkin Spice,
Pistachio, Milk Chocolate and Salted Caramel. Ingredients are seasonal, so
better hurry up!
