New Orleans Weekend Guide [Travel]

Last weekend I traveled to New Orleans to celebrate my future sister-in-law'21st birthday! Yes, you read it right! I also got engaged in this magical and mystical city! It was the best weekend/trip I have ever had!  It was a blast! We partied all weekend and we didn't leave the French Quarter.

STAY
Monteleone, located at 214 Royal Street. Main attraction, the Carousel Bar & Lounge.

EAT
Brunch: The Court of Two Sisters. It's the most delicious buffet I've ever tried. Plus, they have an awesome patio.
Light Lunch: Cafe Beignet. Try the Muffaletta and of course their beignets.
Dinner: Irene's Cuisine. Order the lasagna, the meatballs and ask for off the menu specials.

ENTERTAINMENT
You don’t have to go anywhere else, the French Quarter is the city’s center of culture for entertainment. You can spend the weekend walking through the beautiful neighborhood and admire the French and Spanish architecture, the art galleries, antiques stores, boutiques, music performers and of course restaurants and bars. Royal street has the best art galleries. Bourbon Street has the best bars and it's the place to party. Before you leave make sure to visit Jackson Square and St. Louis Cathedral. These last two are a must! They both have a very special place in my heart, since this is where the proposal took place.
