Packing for Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day weekend is right around the corner and I will be traveling to New Orleans. My husband and I love this place so much because it has a lot of exciting things to do; awesome food, music, gambling, art, history, and it is just a vibrant city with a lot to offer. Plus, we got engaged there.
Since it is a very humid and hot city I will be packing light. Also, I will make sure to only take comfortable shoes, since we will be walking all day long (no high heels).  I will pack 4 outfits that will match my three pairs of shoes. Let's start.

1- The first outfit is comfortable and cute to go out at night. Gingham top, white denim, MIA silver sandals (that are super comfortable) and a cute small crossbody Dior bag I have had since 2006.

2- The second outfit is for brunch and to walk around during the day. I  have not decided between these two cute dresses. The first is a cute off shoulder stripped dress from Romeo & Juliet Couture (this is a top but it is exactly the same in a dress). With the MIA Silver sandals and the ark bag, I got from Amazon. Or a cute double-breasted linen dress from Forever21 with the Rebecca Minkoff nude sandals and the same bag. Oh! and a hat for both.

3- The third outfit is to go out at night. I got a romper from Amazon which is on its way (I love amazon prime, you can always shop last minute). I will wear it with the MIA silver sandals and the Dior mini bag. Jumpsuits and rompers are trending right now. Plus, they are super comfortable for traveling since they are one piece, they look super cute, and the most important part, you won't chafe.  

4- The fourth outfit is for coming back home. I usually carry a denim jacket because I get cold easily. Sneakers are also a must during trips. I usually try to wear the bulky stuff on my way there and my way back. That way I do not have to pack it. For instance, sneakers and jackets are bulky.
Jeans, tee shirt, and sneakers are my favorite thing to wear when traveling. I also bring a big bag since you can only have 2 carry-ons. By the way, my carry-on is from Mark & Graham and it's super lightweight and perfect for traveling. Plus, you can monogram it!
